I am a professional triathlete born and raised in British Columbia Canada. Grew up playing hockey and basketball but was surrounded by triathlon thanks to Ironman Canada being in my hometown of Penticton. Ran track and steeplechase for UBC while completing a degree in Marketing at the Sauder School of Business at UBC.
First got hooked on the triathlon lifestyle after my first triathlon in 2005 in my hometown. After graduation, decided to make it my career. In 2009 I raced my first event as a Pro and have been chasing that dream ever since.
I love promoting the sport through the younger generation. I try to attend every kids race at every race I attend. I also help to coach a kids triathlon club in my hometown of Penticton. There is no better way to get stoked and motivated before a race then by watching the pure excitement on those kids faces before the race – they aren’t worried about a finishing time – they just want to have fun!
I’ll do whatever it takes to get to the finish line — even if that includes Getting Ugly!
