Lindsay grew up in Oakville, ON playing hockey since she was six years old. She continued to play through high school and university. She took swim lessons and became a lifeguard and swim instructor and went onto competitive lifeguarding. After obtaining a Honors Degree in Health Science at U.Ottawa Lindsay went onto Humber College for her diploma as a Paramedic. During the time she discovered Crossfit and became a Level 1 Crossfit Coach. While Crossfit isn’t her primary focus anymore, she continues to coach and partake in the occasional workout.
After college Lindsay met her now husband, fellow Elite Ambassador Sean Henderson, who introduced her to the world of triathlon. After her first sprint distance race in June 2013 she was hooked and has moved up the distances over the last seven seasons. Her proudest finish is 1st female in her AG at Eagleman 70.3 in 2016 securing her spot at Ironman 70.3 World Championships in the Sunshine Coast, Australia. To date she has completed 6 half-iron distances and 4 Ironmans. In 2019 she is training for the Ironman Texas, Multisport Canada long course race series, and Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France.
